The Institute for Digital Entertainment and Education is looking for Ball State students from any major interested in earning credit for their involvement in a number of professional digital media projects. These immersion projects provide an interdisciplinary environment that gives students an opportunity to further their knowledge in their chosen field, while also learning from their peers. Unlike a typical course where student work is submitted to a professor, these projects are developed to meet the needs of a specific client and completed within a clear budget, helping students develop their portfolio and making them more marketable in the workplace.

To recognize students and the important role they play in everything we do at IDEE, we have created two recognition programs. The Immersion Excellence Award is presented monthly to immersion students, and the Employee Excellence Award is given each semester to a student employee. Check out the recent winners.
