
April's Winner: Amanda Fosco
Amanda has gone above and beyond with her
initiative to help and work on IDEE projects such as the feature film Changing Gears and the Vizilesson for Kids with Advanced Potential. She is a junior TCOM student with a production and editing background. Throughout the semester she has learned new filming techniques on a feature film by setting up elaborate lighting and using new high definition cameras. She has also broadened her editing knowledge using programs such as After Effects and Final Cut Pro to create professional looking products. Her hard work and desire to learn has made her a great addition to the IDEE immersion program this spring.

March's Winners: AJ Lawburgh, Blake Deaton, and Chad Hoien


These three students have demonstrated superior leadership by completing assigned projects early and by accepting additional project responsibilities. They went above and beyond expectations and delivered outstanding products.

November's Winner: Andrea Perry
Andrea has shown a great desire to learn all
aspects of video production and help out on several different projects. During the semester she has learned steadicam set-up and operation, muti-cam editing and After Effects animation as well as taken time to polish her editing skills. Not only has she been willing to learn these new technologies, but she has been able to put her skills to use by creating top notch finished products. Andrea is always one of the first to volunteer for an extra assignment and her positive attitude and ability to learn things quickly has been a great asset to IDEE.

October's Winner: Anastasia Goryacheva
Anastasia has shown great initiative and drive in learning Flash while at the same time working to apply those skills to projects currently under development. We've been very impressed at her ability to apply her background and interest in usability and educationally oriented projects to troubleshoot and develop games for ViziSwap. Anastasia is reliable, dedicated, and has been a valued addition to the IDEE immersion program this fall..

March's Winner: Zach Perlinski
Zach is flexing his editing skills to create several educational videos about the Juvenile Justice system. These videos will be used as supplements to a textbook that will be published by Pearson Education next year. He has picked up editing techniques quickly and immersed himself in the opportunities surrounding him. Zach’s eagerness to work, attention to detail, and friendly attitude have earned him this honor!

February's Winner: Evan Himelick
Evan was recruited for IDEE’s spring semester based on his English Studies major and skills in the interview portion of the selection process. Evan’s enthusiastic
attitude for all our projects was underscored when he jumped directly into the Dorm Story project. In particular he was excited for the opportunity to interview his fellow students and has done an outstanding job. His attitude, his trustworthiness and his skills have been been outstanding and won the approval of his peers and our staff. He has taken full advantage of the immersion program by learning a variety of skills and assisting students with other projects. As a part of the Dorm Story team, Even helps with documentary research and as a journalist along side Project Director Justin Jones. Additionally, under the direction of Jessica Seaton, he has been central to the team’s work to develop the project’s web content .
