ideebsu: BSU's Scott Truex (ARCH) has 10 students in Spring Immersion to create ViziLesson as precursor to a summer environmental immersion.

In the summer of 2009 Ball State University’s Institute for Digital Entertainment and Education partnered with Scott Truex, Associate Professor of Urban Planning, and his students in their Virginia Ball Center for Creative Inquiry project “Coffee, Community & Climate Change.” IDEE worked with Scott and his students to make a documentary that followed the students as they:
- Assessed the town’s progress toward adopting environmental practices that were both green and safe;
- Created supportive initiatives to further the town’s efforts; and
- Organized the first green summit in the area for locals and leaders in the green movement.
